Travel & Stay

  • For visitors within Europe, we recommend coming by train as much as possible. This way, we reduce the environmental impact. In addition, it is often a relaxing way to travel. Amsterdam Central Station is well connected to public transport that takes you to the various locations, hotels and apartments.

If you come by plane, Schiphol airport and Amsterdam Central railway station are well connected by public transport. You can be in the city centre in 15 minutes by train.

  • May is often a warm period, so renting a bike in Amsterdam City Center or Amsterdam Noord is also recommended. This will allow you to quickly find your way around the city and travel between locations. Information about public transport can be found at the GVB website.

  • For visitors outside the Netherlands, we have compiled a selection of hotels and services to help with the accommodation search. We are aware that Amsterdam is a very expensive city, and increasing every year, and hope to assist visitors with information and options in the coming period. At the moment, our festival does not have a hotel deal, but we are helping to find your way to some affordable places or hotels we have worked with in the past.
